- Next to “Choose your country,” select India.
- Follow the instructions under “Option 1: Bring your phone to a service centre.”
- At the Google Store repair center in a supported country or region, start the repair process.
- You'll need to sign into your Google Account.
- Enter your device's IMEI or serial number and confirm that the IMEI or serial number matches the device that you want repaired.
- Next, in "Step 1," select the issues and symptoms that apply to your device, review the issue covered, then select "Next."
Tip: All damages, whether in-warranty or out-of-warranty must be repaired. Make sure to select all damages. You'll be charged for any out-of-warranty repairs. - On "Step 2," review and select your repair option: Walk-In or Mail-In and select "Next."
Tip: Walk-in service is only available in selected countries. - To complete the next steps, either:

Find your device identifier

Send your device for repair
Choose your preferred repair service. Walk-in service is only available for phones. Before you bring your phone in for repairs, back up data and remove the SIM card. For eligible Pixel phones, you may enter Repair Mode. Otherwise, factory reset your phone.
Back up dataOn your device, make sure to back up your data and remove identifiers:
- Pixel phone:
- Pixel Tablet: Back up your Pixel Tablet.
- Pixel Watch: Back up your Pixel Watch.
Factory reset your device, if necessary. A factory reset deletes all data saved on your device. If you can't factory reset your device, log out of your Google Account on the device.
- Pixel phone: Factory reset your Pixel phone.
- Pixel Tablet: Factory reset your Pixel Tablet.
- Pixel Watch: Factory reset your Pixel Watch.
If you can't factory reset your device before you bring it to a repair partner, they'll reset it for you.
Option 1: Take your device for walk-in repair
Important: Walk-in repair options are only available for phones.
Step 1: Find the nearest authorized service providerImportant: Before you take your item to a Google retail shop, review the in-store repair Terms of Service.
- Before you bring in your device for repair, start a repair request.
- Select Walk-In.
- Enter your postal code.
Important: Partial repairs aren't available. Learn more about the repair process.
- On your device, perform a backup and a factory reset.
- Bring your device to your nearest repair partner.
- The repair partner:
- Checks your warranty status.
- Inspects your device for damage.
- Gives you the repair cost.
- Can do many repairs on the same day.

Warranties and repair cost:
- For in-warranty devices or damage: There's no charge for the repairs.
- For out-of-warranty devices or damage: Prices may vary.
At the time of inspection, if there’s damage found that increases the repair cost, the partner will tell you. You need to approve the new cost before repair can start.
Once the repair is complete, you get a notification that your device is ready for pickup.
Option 2: Send your device for mail-in repair
Step 1: Create a repair order & review repair costImportant: Check that the address information is accurate. Once you finish the order, you can’t edit the address anymore.
To get repair costs, you need to start a repair order.
- Create a repair order.
- Check the details for your repair and the estimated repair cost.
- Click or tap Confirm purchase.
Warranties and repair costs:
- For in-warranty devices or damage: There’s no charge for the repairs.
- For out-of-warranty devices or damage: The estimated repair cost is on the last page before you confirm the purchase and create the repair order.
- Your own packaging:
- You’re responsible for any damage that might occur to your device in shipment.
- To ship the device, use the repair order email to print these:
- Attached shipping label
- Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) slip
- Battery safety label (for US only)
- Before you mail your device, pack it securely.
- Packaging can differ so there's a risk of a damaged device.
- After a successful repair, the repair center will use sturdy boxes to ship your device.
- Prepaid packaging:
- Once you place your repair order, the prepaid packaging takes 1–2 business days to arrive.
- To keep your device secure, the prepaid packaging contains padding.
- To ship your device, print out the RMA slip and shipping label you received in the instruction email.
Important: Before you send your device, remember to back up your data and do a factory reset.
- Pack your device carefully.
- Send it for repair.

- Mail-in: Select Repairs at the top right of the Google Store repair history page.
- Walk-in: Contact your repair partner.
