Check warranty eligibility

Your warranty may cover a replacement, repair, or refund.

The warranty helper helps you check your warranty coverage, find solutions to common device issues, start a return, repair, or connect with our team.

Confirm warranty coverage

Important:

  • All Google items bought from Google Store, such as Pixel phones or Google Nest, come with a limited warranty.
  • You can return your item and get a refund if you're within the standard return period. If you return your item, you won’t get a replacement. Learn more about how to return an item.

Before you start a repair or replacement process, you must confirm the warranty type and coverage for your item. If you have Google Store’s Preferred Care, start a claim.

What affects eligibility

These details can affect your item’s warranty coverage.

Warranty period

Your device is covered under warranty if the warranty is still within the warranty period. You can extend beyond the standard warranty period as long as you purchased either:

  • Doesn’t charge properly.
  • Doesn't turn on.
  • Freezes often.
  • Has microphone, speaker, or button issues.
  • Has trouble getting internet or cell signal.

You may not be able to get warranty support for your device if:

  • It has cosmetic damage.
  • It has a cracked or broken screen.
  • You dropped the item and it got damaged.
  • Debris entered the USB-C port and it stopped working.
  • You lost the device, it was stolen, or you don’t have it anymore.
  • The device malfunctions due to liquid damage.

Purchase from a third-party retailer

Important: Nothing in this article affects your legal statutory rights. Google repair isn’t available in Taiwan.

  • Devices purchased through authorized third-party retailers or carriers have Google warranty support.
  • If you bought your Google device from an unauthorized third-party retailer or carrier, contact the retailer or carrier directly.

Tip: For warranty replacement of Google devices bought from a Signifi-owned kiosk, contact Google Support.
