To get a Google AI Ultra membership:
- Sign in with a personal Google Account. If you don’t have one, you can create an account. Learn how to create a Google Account.

Use Whisk
Users can easily remix ideas and create images with the help of Whisk, a Google Labs generative media experiment that focuses on fast visual ideation. Users only need to select images as prompts for guidance like scene, subjects or styles and Whisk will try to capture their essence to generate images.
With AI Ultra, Whisk also has the highest limits for image-to-video creation with Veo 2.
Whisk Animate is a new feature in Whisk for Google AI Ultra members. It lets users transform generated images into short videos with Veo 2.
Tip: Video generation limit refreshes monthly. Credits don't accumulate.

Use NotebookLM
Users can gain understanding about the information that matters most to them with the help of NotebookLM, a research and thinking partner. With AI Ultra, NotebookLM gives you:
- Five times more Audio Overviews, notebooks, queries and sources per notebook
- Customizable notebook styles and length of responses
- Additional sharing options and analytics for your notebooks
- The highest limits and best model capabilities (later in 2025)

Use Project Mariner
Members of Google AI Ultra now have access to Project Mariner, a research prototype that can help users automate up to 10 tasks at the same time on web browsers. This can help users shop, book travel, or do personal research. Users can also teach Project Mariner how to do tasks.
Use YouTube Premium
Google AI Ultra members now have access to YouTube Premium individual plan at no extra cost. With YouTube Premium, user can:
- Watch videos ad-free, offline, and in the background.
- Get uninterrupted access to the YouTube music app.

- If you’re subscribed to a Google One membership through a third-party provider: Unless it’s offered by your provider, Google AI Ultra isn’t yet available for your membership.
- If you’re subscribed to a Google One membership through a different Google Account under the same Apple ID: You can manage your membership through the Google app you used to purchase the Google One plan. - On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google app

- At the top, tap Gemini
- At the top, tap your Profile picture or Initial
- If you already have a Google One subscription, tap Upgrade. This opens the app you originally subscribed to Google One from to complete the upgrade. On the payment screen, the other app will be listed.
- To confirm your purchase, double-press the Side button.
- Tap Go to AI Ultra.
If you're brought to Apple settings
If you no longer have the app you subscribed to Google One through, you’ll be brought to your memberships in Apple settings. To upgrade in Apple settings:
- On your iPhone or iPad, select the app you used to subscribe to Google One.
- Tap See All Plans.
- Select Google AI Ultra plan.
If you're brought to instructions to upgrade through Google One
If you subscribed to Google One through the web or on an Android device, you may not be able to upgrade to AI Ultra on your iPhone or iPad. Learn how to upgrade on the Gemini web app.
Change your plan
To switch to a different Google One plan:
- On your iPhone or iPad, sign in to Google One.
- At the top right, tap Settings
- Choose your new storage limit.
- To get more storage: Under "Upgrade options," choose a plan.
- To find other or smaller storage plans: Tap See more plans.
- If there’s no downgrade option, you're already on the lowest plan.
- After you select your plan, confirm your new subscription.
Important: If you initially subscribed to Google One in the Apple store or in a Google app like Gmail, Google Drive, or Google Photos, you must switch to a different plan through Settings.
- Open Settings
- Choose Google One
- Choose Google One
- Tap See all plans.
- Select your new plan.
- Confirm your new subscription.
If you previously subscribed to Google One from Google Drive
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Gemini app
- At the top, tap your Profile picture or Initial
- Tap Manage Subscription.
- This opens the web browser.
- Tap Manage Subscription
- Select the membership you want.
If you previously subscribed to Google AI Ultra and want to manage your subscription
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Gemini app
- At the top, tap your Profile picture or Initial
- Tap Manage Subscription.
- This opens the web browser.
- Select the membership you want.
- On your iPhone or iPad, go to gemini.google.com.
- At the bottom, tap Settings
- This opens Google One settings, where you can select a different plan.
- Tap Change membership plan.
- Under "Downgrade options," select a plan.
- Confirm the new plan price and details.
- Tap Next.
- Select your payment method.
- Tap Subscribe.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google app
- At the top, tap Gemini
- At the top, tap your Profile picture or Initial
- If you subscribed to Google One from a different app, this opens your subscriptions in Apple settings. Select the app you used to subscribe to Google One.
- Tap See All Plans.
- Select the plan you want.
Cancel your plan
You can cancel your plan in Google One settings.
In the Gemini web app
- Go to gemini.google.com.
- At the top, tap Menu
- This opens Google One settings, where you can cancel your plan.
- Tap Cancel membership
If you subscribed to Google One from the Google app, you can cancel your plan in the Google app.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google app
- At the top, tap Gemini
- At the top, tap your Profile picture or Initial
- This opens your subscriptions in Apple settings.
- Select Google One.
- Cancel your current plan.
When your plan ends, you’ll no longer have access to:
- AI Ultra features. You won’t be able to:
- Start new chats with Gemini in AI Ultra
- Continue chats created with Gemini in AI Ultra
- Use features that are only available on Gemini in AI Ultra
- These benefits from Google One:
- Expanded storage across Drive, Gmail, and Photos
- Exclusive member benefits
- Gemini in Gmail, Docs, and more
Troubleshoot issues with Google AI Ultra
When you have a Google One membership through Google Fi Unlimited benefit- If you purchased your membership through the Apple Store:
- You need to cancel your current Google One membership.
- After cancellation, you can sign up for a Google AI Ultra membership.
- The purchase of Google AI Ultra membership through third-party integrated billing providers isn't available yet.
