About the Issue Details Page

The Issue Details Page (IDP) is a new destination in Merchant Center to help you solve product and account issues more effectively. The IDP consolidates all of the relevant information you need to address issues into one interface, allowing you to effectively understand and resolve any issues with your products.

How it works

The IDP can be accessed directly from the issue cards on the“Needs attention” tab in Merchant Center. Click on an issue to bring up the IDP interface. The IDP is a dedicated page that consolidates all the information you need to understand and resolve an issue. This includes:

  • Issue overview: The IDP gives you an overview of the issue, including a detailed title and description that explains the problem, its cause, and how to fix it.
  • Suggested actions: The page also provides direct links to resolve the issue, such as turning on automatic improvements or appealing the decision.
  • Business impact: The IDP will offer data on projected business impact as well. . This includes how the issue affects your performance, the number of impacted products, and click potential.
  • Product samples: The page also gives a list of example products affected by the issue to help you with debugging.

Requesting reviews

For applicable violations, you will have the option to request a review directly on this page, with all the context you need to understand the decision. Learn how to Request a review of your issues.

Where can I find the Issues Details Page?

How is Business Impact calculated?

Business impact is estimated based on aggregated Click potential of products affected by the issue. Click potential indicates how likely a product is to be clicked based on past traffic, product data, and demand.
