To generate content in Google Flow, you need to use Google Flow credits or AI credits. Your Google Flow or AI credits are shared across your account, regardless of which device you use.
The number of Google Flow credits required depends on the AI model you use. The number of Google Flow credits you receive depends on your subscription level:
- With no subscription, you receive 50 Google Flow credits per day free of charge to try Google Flow. Learn about free-of-charge credits.
- Google AI Plus subscribers receive 200 Google Flow credits each month.
- Google AI Pro subscribers receive 1,000 Google Flow credits each month.
- Google AI Ultra $100 subscribers receive 10,000 Google Flow credits each month.
- Google AI Ultra $200 subscribers receive 25,000 Google Flow credits each month.
Check your remaining Google Flow credits
You'll be notified if:
- Your Google Flow credits are low.
- You don’t have enough Google Flow credits to complete a request.
- You’re out of Google Flow credits for the month.
To check your remaining Google Flow credits:
- On your device, go to Google Flow.
- At the top right, click your profile picture or initial

- Under your profile information, you’ll find your remaining Google Flow credits.

- The next refresh date.
- Your credit usage, including the following details:

- Amount (shows subtractions and additions to your AI credits)

To get more AI credits, you can:
- Change your plan: Subscribe to a Google AI Plus, Google AI Pro, or Google AI Ultra plan, or upgrade your existing plan.
- To receive 200 Google Flow credits each month, learn how to get a Google AI Plus membership.
- To receive 1,000 Google Flow credits each month, learn how to get a Google AI Pro membership.
- To receive 10,000 Google Flow credits each month, learn how to get a Google AI Ultra $100 membership.

Who can receive free-of-charge Google Flow credits
- All users who are not Google AI Plus, Pro, or Ultra subscribers receive 50 Google Flow credits per day free of charge to try Google Flow.
- If you’re part of a Google One family group, you’ll receive these Google Flow credits if your family group plan is not a Google AI plan.

How free-of-charge Google Flow credits refresh
Your daily free-of-charge credit refresh is triggered by your first generation.
- For example, if you use your Google Flow credits for the first time on August 12, your next 50 Google Flow credits will become available on August 13.
- If you don’t use the full 50 Google Flow credits in a day, the unused Google Flow credits don’t roll over.
- If you upgrade to a paid subscription, any remaining free-of-charge Google Flow credits are immediately forfeited. They will be replaced by the new monthly credit allocation from your plan.

- Google Flow credits for your Google AI Plus, Pro, or Ultra plan refresh at the start of your billing cycle.
- Unused monthly Google Flow credits do not roll over to the next month.
