Troubleshoot Google Fi's international service

If you travel abroad and can’t use Google Fi service, try the steps below to fix the issue. After each step, check your phone to know if the issue is fixed.

If you don't have a phone designed for Google Fi, some international features might not be available. For more information, check our list of compatible phones.

To check if your international data is suspended, check your Google Fi app homepage. For activation, extent of use, suspension exit, and exceptions, review Google Fi’s international roaming policy.

Exception for US military and State Department employees: If you’re a member of the US military or a State Department employee stationed abroad, you can use Google Fi service internationally after you verify your status.
