After you confirm eligibility, set up the Google Fi trial to access 7 days of calls, texts, and 2 GB of data. This process requires you to install an eSIM or physical SIM through the Google Fi app.
Install & activate your Google Fi trial
You can activate the trial directly through the Google Fi app.
- On your compatible Android device, download and open the Google Fi app.
- Select Try Google Fi.
- Complete any eligibility checks within the app if the system prompts you.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the eSIM. If the device requires a physical SIM, the app guides you to activate it.
- After you install the eSIM or physical SIM, the Google Fi trial service starts immediately. You can then use calls, texts, and 2 GB of data for 7 days, or until you use 2 GB of data.
