You experience the Google Fi network and features for 7 days without a commitment to a full plan. A Google Fi trial offers unlimited data, calls, and texts on compatible Android devices. This allows you to test the service at no cost.
Important: The Google Fi trial is designed for new users in the US to experience the service before they purchase a full plan.
What is a Google Fi trial?
A Google Fi trial provides a temporary period of Google Fi service at no charge. It includes:
- Calls, texts, and 2 GB of data for 7 days, or until you use 2 GB of data.
- Access to Google Fi network coverage in the US.
- No credit card required to start the trial.
You can use the trial on compatible Android devices such as select Pixel, Samsung, and OnePlus devices. This is an effective way to verify how Google Fi works with your device and in your locations.
Limitations of the trial
Within the Google Fi trial, certain features and services aren’t available:
- No international services: The trial doesn’t include international calls, texts, or data.
- Limited Google Fi features: Advanced features like data-only SIMs, smartwatch connectivity, VPN, and calls to Canada or Mexico aren’t included.
- One trial per person or phone: You can only sign up for one Google Fi trial per person and per compatible device.
How your trial ends
The Google Fi trial expires automatically after 7 days or after you use 2 GB of data, whichever comes first. If you choose not to upgrade to a full plan, the service stops. No payment information is needed.
