You can generate a unique custom music that perfectly matches your video's mood and context.
You can generate music in full songs around 3 minutes long or music clips around 30 seconds long. Limits reset on a monthly basis. Limits are subject to change. Learn more about Vids availability.
Generate a song in Vids
- On your computer, open a video in Google Vids.
- In the sidebar, click Music
.
- The "Generate a song" side panel opens.
- Enter your prompt.
- Describe the audio that you like to generate. You can include:
- Genre
- Context
- Tone
- Lyrics
- Don't include references to specific artists, brands, or sensitive content.
- Describe the audio that you like to generate. You can include:
- At the bottom of the window select the length you would like generated:
- Full
, for a full song about 3 minutes long
- 30s
- Full
- Click Generate.
- To insert the song in your selected scene, click Insert.
- Optional: To reuse a previous prompt click Recreate.
