Get started with Gemini in Docs
- On your Android phone or tablet, open a document in the Google Docs app
.
- At the top right, tap Ask Gemini
.
- In the panel that opens at the bottom, select a suggested prompt or write your own prompt.

Things to ask Gemini in Docs
- Summarize a document: You can use Gemini to give you a summary of your content.
- To summarize, tap Summarize this document

Google Workspace with Gemini is constantly learning and may not be able to support your request.
If you get a suggestion that’s inaccurate or that you feel is unsafe, you can submit feedback. Your feedback can help improve AI-assisted Workspace features and broader Google efforts in AI.
- At the bottom of the generated text, tap Good suggestion
or Bad suggestion

- If you tap Bad suggestion
, you can select the issue.
- If you tap Bad suggestion
- Optional: You can enter additional feedback.
- Select the data you want to share, like prompts and output.
- If you don't want to share certain data, uncheck their boxes.
- Click Submit.
