Install apps

As an admin, you can install apps to publish and share with your Cameyo users.

Before you begin

• Connect to your server as admin:

  1. Sign in to your Cameyo Admin console.

  2. On the Cameyo dashboard, scroll to the list of Servers.
  3. On the server where you want to install apps, select Action > Connect as admin . This opens a session window on your server.
• To run in a multi-user Cameyo environment, most installers require elevated privileges on the Windows server session. To do this, right-click the installer and select Run as Administrator.

Install an app using Drag & Drop

From your Cameyo server session:

1. Drag and drop the installer file from your computer to the browser. The installer file displays within the Drag & Drop folder on the server's desktop .
2. Launch the installer.
3. Scroll through the steps of the installation wizard to install your app.

Install an app from the Internet

From your Cameyo server session:

1. On Windows server, click the Cameyo shortcut in the taskbar.
2. To launch Chrome browser on the server, select Your App into HTML5 in 3 Steps > Launch browser.
3. Download the installation file from the Internet. For example, see Install Notepad++.
4. Scroll through the steps of the installation wizard to install your app.
