Publish and share apps

After apps are installed on the Cameyo server, you can publish them. This means the apps will available for your users to run on their managed devices.

Publish an app on Cameyo server

  1. On the Cameyo Admin console, select Servers .
  2. On the server where your app is installed, select Action > Connect as admin . This opens a session window on your server.
  3. In the lower-right corner, select the app from the Publish Your Apps dialog.
  4. Click Apply to share/publish your app with users.

Manage virtual apps from Cameyo Admin console

The app Details page contains information about the app, including when it was published, how many times it's been run, how many users are running the app, and an activity log of historical app usage.

To display apps on the Cameyo Portal, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Cameyo Admin console.
  2. On the Cameyo dashboard, click Apps to find your newly-published app.
  3. Click the app name to open the app’s settings page.
  4. Turn on Show in portal to display the app on the Cameyo Portal for your users.

To run apps on the Cameyo Portal, follow these steps:

  1. On the Cameyo Admin console, select Admin > Portal. Here, you see all the apps available to Cameyo users. This is the view of the portal your users see when they log in at https://online.cameyo.com/portal.
  2. To run the app on the Cameyo Portal, click the app icon in the Apps list.

Manage virtual apps from Admin console

After apps are published on your Cameyo Server, you can manage them from the Google Admin console.

  1. Sign in to your Google Admin console. For more information, see Sign in to your Admin console in the Chrome Enterprise and Education Help Center.
  2. Select Devices > Chrome > Virtual Apps.
  3. Publish your virtual app and deploy it.
