Getting Started with Agency seats

Agency seats give you full control to manage your clients and campaigns. As an admin user, you can create separate sub-accounts for your agency and brand teams, add your team members, and assign DSP seats to these sub accounts all by yourself. This article shows you how to complete these three key workflows. Learn more about account levels.

Create a new sub account

Follow these steps to set up a new sub account for one of your teams. Learn about your Account hierarchy

  1. Sign in to Authorized Buyers.
  2. From your Agency account, click Admin, then DSPs & Accounts, and then Manage Sub Accounts.
  3. Click the Create new sub account button.
  4. In the Sub Account Name field, enter a unique name for your new sub account. Example: Client Alpha Campaigns.
  5. Select a Country, Currency and Timezone from the drop-down list.
    Note: These settings are un-editable after creating and can be unique to each sub-account.
  6. Click Save & Continue.

The seat will now be available to add users and DSPs to the account.

Add users to a sub account

After you create a sub account, you can add team members who need access to it.

  1. Sign in to Authorized Buyers.
  2. From your Agency account, click Admin, then DSPs & Accounts, and then Sub Accounts.
  3. Find the sub account you want to add users to and click its name.
  4. In the sub account's details page, click the Manage team members tab.
  5. Enter the user's email address in the Email field. Example: [email protected].
  6. Choose a Role for the user from the drop-down list. Example: Administrator.
  7. Click Add.

The user will receive an email invitation to join the sub account.

Add DSP seats to a sub account

You should assign DSP seats to a sub account for running campaigns. A DSP seat must be mapped to an Agency Seat at the parent level before it can be assigned to sub-accounts laddering into it.

  1. Sign in to Authorized Buyers.
  2. From your Agency account, click Admin, then DSPs and Accounts, and then Sub Accounts.
  3. Find the sub account where you want to add DSP seats and click its name.
  4. In the sub account's details page, click the DSP Seats tab.
  5. Click Add to Account for the DSP that you would like to add.
  6. Select the DSP seat you want to add from the drop-down list of DSP seats mapped to the parent Agency Seat. Example: Standard DSP.
    Note: For DSP seats that are shared by multiple advertisers, you will need to map a domain to the Level 3 seat to map Open Auction spend to the sub-account. Learn more about creating Agency seat sub-accounts for multi-advertiser DSP seats.
  7. Click Save.

The DSP seats are now mapped for this sub account.
