For DSP seats used by multiple advertisers, advertisers are required to create an Agency seat sub-account under the account to which the DSP seat is mapped. The sub-account includes their adomain in the Agency seat mapping to correctly associate spend to the correct advertiser.
Without adomain, Open Auction spend is attributed to the Agency seat which the DSP seat is mapped to, not to the advertiser sub-account. Additionally, only deal spend created within an advertiser sub-account can be attributed to the sub-account.
During the Agency seat onboarding process, sub-account stakeholders are asked if they share their seat(s) with multiple advertisers. If yes, they’re asked to input an adomain that corresponds to the adomain provided to the DSP. The DSP includes the adomain in their bid response, and tells Google to map spend to the specific Level 3 Agency seat.
DSPs submit the adomain in the bid response and it should be the same as what the advertiser input to their Agency seat.
adomains may be assigned per Level 3, however an adomain can only be assigned once per DSP seat. Create an initial allow/block list
