Gemini in AppSheet Solutions (preview) requires an AppSheet Enterprise Plus account.
For example, imagine you are the owner of a car dealership and you need to frequently update your sales inventory. Using AI in automation, the process can be greatly simplified for the end user. Here’s what the experience could be for them:
- Take a photo of the new car on a mobile device.
- Upload the image to your AppSheet app.
Using AI, AppSheet extracts data from the photo, such as car make, model, color, and year.

Get started
To get started using AI in automations, do one of the following:
- Step through a quick start. Build your first automation using AI to extract information from a car photo and categorize the car by body style. See Quick start: Build your first automation using AI.
- Copy an app template. Explore and copy the Book tracking with Gemini app template which showcases how AI tasks can automate the input and categorization of books. The Extract AI task gets book-related information based on a photo of the cover.
