You can change the apps shown on your Android XR device’s Home screen. Aside from the pinned apps, you can also find these on your Home screen:
- Time and date
- Wi-Fi connection
- Battery level
- Recents
- Notifications
- Quick Settings
- Google Search
- Gemini
Customize your Home screen
- On your Android XR device, open the Home screen.
- If you aren’t sure how to open the Home screen, learn how to navigate on your Android XR device.
- To customize your Home screen, pin or unpin an app.
- To unpin an app:
- Pinch and hold an app.
- Select Unpin from the secondary menu.
- To pin an app:
- Find the app you want to pin by scrolling.
- Pinch and hold an app.
- Select Pin app.
- To unpin an app:
Tip: Up to 10 apps can be pinned to the Home screen.
