When you add a Google Account to your device, the system automatically adds the associated info, like your email and contacts.
On your Android XR device, you can access Google services like:
- Gmail
- Calendar
- Contacts
Important: If you don’t have one, learn how to create a Google Account.
Sign in to your Google account
- On your Android XR device, open the Settings app.
- If you aren’t sure how to open the Settings app, learn how to navigate on your Android XR device.
- Select Accounts
Add account
Google.
- Enter your account details.
- If prompted, complete the 2-step verification.
- To complete the sign in process, follow the on-screen instructions.
Add an account to your Android XR device
- On your Android XR device, open the Settings app.
- If you aren’t sure how to open the Settings app, learn how to navigate on your Android XR device.
- Select Accounts
Add account.
- Select the account type you want to add:
- To add a Samsung Account:
- Select Samsung.
- Enter the email and password for your account.
- If you have trouble with your Samsung Account sign-in, go to the Samsung support page.
- To add an Exchange account:
- Select Exchange.
- Enter the email address and password for your account.
- To sign in, follow the on-screen instructions.
- To add another Google Account: Select Google.
- When you sign in with a Google Account, the system automatically syncs associated info that includes email, contacts, and calendar events.
- To add your Google Meet account: Select Meet.
- When you sign in to your Meet account, you can make and get video calls, create meetings, and call linked devices to your home.
- You don’t have to add your account to use Meet.
- To add a different personal account: Select Personal (IMAP) or Personal (POP3).
- If you use an email program like Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail, select these.
- If you aren't sure what to select, contact your email provider for help.
- To add a Samsung Account:
Remove a Google or other account from your device
- On your Android XR device, open the Settings app.
- If you aren’t sure how to open the Settings app, learn how to navigate on your Android XR device.
- Select Accounts
the account you want to remove.
- Select Remove account
Remove.
Tip: If this is for a Google Account, enter your device's pattern, PIN, or password for security.
