Google Podcast links on websites do not open podcast in YouTube Music

Google Podcast links on websites do not open podcast in YouTube Music. Tapping the Google podcast icon just dumps you at the YouTube Music home screen. The title of this post could also be No native podcast support in Android. Because there isn't. It's pathetic.

Since this has to be a question, how do you listen to podcasts natively on Android (re: without downloading third party apps that need accounts) like Apple/IOS users can???
