
[PE-Guide] How do I recognize a hack - and what can I do?

Hello - and welcome to the YouTube user help community!
First of all, please realize that usually only other users reply here in this community. We product experts don't work for YouTube or Google either, but try to share our experiences and help other users here in our free time. Unfortunately, the latter does not always work. Please do not vent your frustration on us. Thanks.
Unfortunately, real support/customer service is only available for partners in the partner program. Not for users of the predominantly free service - and not for terminated users. Unfortunately, this also applies to premium customers and customers of other Google payment services. But read below...
To the main problem:
If a hack of the account/channel is obvious, please skip the next part - and scroll down. However, it does not count as a "classic" hack if your ex-partner or friends have locked you out of your accounts. In such cases, YouTube will usually not provide support - and you should generally go to the police if the "hacker" is known.

If you still have access to your Google account/GMail account:
You've apparently been banned from the YouTube product without receiving a YouTube channel/account termination notification? (most "Unable to access a Google product" or similar")
First try an apppeal from the bottom of this page.
Note that the steps and forms offered so far cannot do anything with a Channel-@Alias/Handle or other short-URL. You may then receive a message that the email address provided is not linked to an active Google account...You definitely need your channel URL with channel ID. This is included in the termination notification that you should have received by email/GMail.
If there is no notification, or supposedly no responses to your appeals, this almost always points to filters placed by hackers, which then move messages from Google and YouTube straight to the trash. Such messages can be restored there for a maximum of 30 days before they are also permanently deleted. Please read here:

Unfortunately, you won't find any notification of termination there either - and you have no idea what your channel URL / channel ID is?
Another option is to export the YouTube service (mark only "YouTube" please!) via Google Takeout. If you see videos there that you have not uploaded yourself, you definitely know that you are the victim of a hack. You can also import such exports into Excel - and then you will also see a column for your channel ID. This channel ID is important - and has the format "UC + 22 digits". This also allows you to reproduce the channel URL. (https://youtube.com/channel/ + Channel ID)
Another possibility would be if you know the channel name or a video URL of your channel. But that's really something for nerds like me ;o)
