YouTube BrandConnect Module terms
If you’ve signed the YouTube BrandConnect Module terms and you received a deal directly from a brand, you can perform the following actions on that inquiry:
- Interested: If you select interested, we will share your contact details with the brand so they can contact you to negotiate a deal. The deal will include payment terms, price, and contract language. To proceed with a deal, you will sign an agreement directly with the brand and you will be paid by the brand. Make sure you understand the terms of any agreement you sign with a brand; you may wish to consult a legal professional.

Campaign videos linking
Advertisers may request that you upload your video through one of the following flows:
Upload through a request link or creator-initiated link: If you’ve partnered with an advertiser on a branded content campaign, the advertiser may send you a request to link content from the campaign to their Google Ads account. It’s entirely up to you whether or not you accept the advertiser’s request and you should always do what’s best for your channel. Alternatively, you can link brands to your videos. Learn about creator-initiated video linking.
Upload through “Campaign videos”: Once you’ve accepted a brand deal, you can work on the content for your campaign. The “Campaign videos” section outlines next steps for you to upload your content, as Unlisted, and submit one or more videos to the brand for review and approval. If the brand has any feedback, you will get an email with your brand partner’s comments.
In addition to brand reviews, your content is also reviewed against Google Ads policies and Community Guidelines. Once your content is fully approved, you get an email and status update in YouTube Studio. You can publish your content right away, or schedule when you want it to go live. Make sure you publish according to the timeline you agreed to with the brand.Frequently Asked Questions
