Browse YouTube in landscape mode

Landscape mode lets you browse the YouTube mobile app horizontally, making thumbnails and descriptions easier to view.

Enable landscape browsing on the YouTube app

1. In the YouTube app, tap your profile picture .
2. Tap Settings General.
3. Turn on Rotate screen.

If landscape browsing still doesn't work, check whether Rotation lock is turned off:

1. On your iOS device, open the control centre by swiping down from the top right-hand corner of the screen.
2. If Rotation lock is highlighted, tap it to turn off Rotation lock .
