Enhance Your Posts with New Features ✨

There are various tools you can use to help you express yourself and connect with your audience using text and image posts. These tools are currently only available in English on the YouTube mobile app.

You can use AI-powered tools to help generate and edit your posts. Learn more about our guidelines for creating content using generative AI on YouTube.

Note:

  • All content on YouTube, including AI-generated content, must follow our Community Guidelines. To help you navigate our policies, we’ve incorporated safeguards into our AI tools that aim to help you follow our Community Guidelines and avoid generating inappropriate content. We may not accept prompts that violate our policies or touch on sensitive topics.
  • Creators who make or edit a post using YouTube's generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools, don't need to take extra steps to disclose the use of altered or synthetic content. The tool will automatically disclose the use of AI for creators. Learn more about disclosing use of altered or synthetic content.

C2PA manifest

AI generated images may include a valid, signed C2PA manifest. If you create a clip by selecting the icon and reuse or share the content you produce with a C2PA manifest on an external platform, that platform can access this metadata.

C2PA standards: This technology is based on an open standard for content origin and authenticity developed by the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA). This standard allows users ways to understand the authenticity and origin of different types of media like images, videos, and audio.

Send feedback

As with any generative AI tool, mistakes are possible and we may not always get it right. That’s why we encourage creators to review all AI-generated content carefully before publishing it to YouTube, just as they would do in any other situation.

If you find issues with generated text or images for your posts, you can send us feedback.

We want you to feel safe when you're on YouTube, which is why we encourage you to let us know if videos or comments on the site violate your privacy or sense of safety. Learn more on how you can protect your identity on YouTube.
