Parents who decide their child under 13 (or the relevant age in their country/region) is ready to explore YouTube can set up a supervised kid account. Supervised kid accounts can be created on a shared device with a signed-in parent or with a signed-in Google account that is linked to a parent’s own Google account if the child is using YouTube on their own device.
In both cases, when a parent sets up a supervised kid account, they select a content setting that limits the videos and music their child has access to. Learn more about supervised kid accounts.
