Verifying your identity with a valid ID

If you choose to verify your identity with an ID, you must make sure that:

It’s valid
It’s current
The date of birth on your ID matches the date of birth listed on your Google Account
You’ve checked your country/region in the list below to verify whether any info on your ID must be covered and kept private

Below is a list of valid IDs per country/region & their requirements:

Driver's license
National identity card
Passport
