Report Impersonation in a Search Profile

Report a search profile that is impersonating another user or business.

Provide a self-portrait photo ("selfie") while holding government-approved photo identification. Make sure your selfie is not blurry and text is legible. 

We accept a clear photo of a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license or national ID card.

Make sure your name and photo are clearly visible. You can block out other personal information. Your ID will only be used to verify your identity and will be deleted after review.

To confirm that you are acting on behalf of the entity, please provide a business document that explains your relationship to the entity you represent. Google will use this information solely to help us assess and document the authenticity of your request and will delete the document within 30 days of verifying your application.

Examples of acceptable business documents are:

*Certificate of incorporation with your name on it
*Partnership agreement with your name on it
*Employment agreement with your name on it
*Social media partnership agreement with your name on it

Files should be submitted in one of the following supported formats: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .pdf
Log in to the official websites, web platforms, or social media profiles that you manage for the entity, and take a screenshot.

The screenshot must show that you have editing privileges
The screenshot must include your entity’s name

Do not exceed a cumulative file size of 3 MB
You may choose to black out sensitive information
This step helps us determine which entity you manage, particularly if there are other entities with a similar name.
