Request a refund for your Carpool balance

Former Waze Carpool users with an outstanding balance can request a refund. To submit a refund request, you must have a verified email address linked to your account. If you haven't linked your email address yet, check this article.

Once your email is linked, follow these steps:

  1. Open Waze
  2. Tap 
  3. Tap Help and feedback
  4. Tap Carpool
  5. Tap Withdraw funds. A form will open.
  6. Submit the form. After this, you'll receive an email from the Waze team with a link to the official Google refund request form.
  7. Fill in the required details
  8. Tap Submit. This officially initiates the payment process.

How long will it take to receive my refund?

Once you submit the Google refund request form, our team will initiate the refund. You'll be notified via email once your refund has been successfully processed on our end. Please note that it may take additional business days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider's specific processing times.

I don't see the "Withdraw funds" option

This option only appears for users who have an outstanding balance. If you believe you have a balance but don't see the option, please ensure you're logged into the correct account.
