In India, Cashify operates the exchange programme. When you add an exchange, you agree to Cashify's Terms and Conditions for the exchange programme and consent to share your data with them.
Add an exchange to your order
- You can add an exchange to a Pixel device order from Google Store. Learn how to add an exchange to an order.
- During checkout on Google Store, provide the following info to check if you're eligible for an exchange:
- Postcode
- Old device's manufacturer
- Model
- Storage and RAM
- Device condition
- IMEI number
- After you provide this information, an estimated exchange value will appear. This will also include your exchange bonus. You will receive this value when you complete your exchange successfully.
Important:
- Once you confirm your order, Cashify will use the phone number, postcode and address that you provided during checkout to schedule your device collection appointment.
- The details that you provided cannot be changed after your order is confirmed. Make sure that they are accurate to avoid any delays with your exchange.
Prepare for your exchange collection
Once your new Google device has been delivered, prepare your old device for collection by Cashify. Transfer the data from your old device to the new device.
Important: Do not factory reset your old device. Cashify needs to run diagnostic tests on your old device during the collection to verify its condition.
- If you already factory reset the device, Cashify will ask you to log in to your device and download the Cashify app to run diagnostics during the collection.
- After Cashify has inspected your old device and offered a final exchange value, you can factory reset the device if you complete the exchange.
Select your payment method for the exchange value
After your new Google device has been delivered, Cashify will contact you to confirm your preferred payment method for your exchange value.
- You will receive an SMS from Cashify asking you to enter your preferred mode of payment.
- Use your mobile number to create a Cashify account (if you don't have one already). This account is where you'll select your preferred payment mode to receive the exchange value. The mobile number that you use here must be the same one that you used to place the Google Store order.
- On your Cashify account, select how you want to receive your exchange value.
Important: You must select your preferred payment method within seven days of the delivery of your new Google device. If you miss this deadline, your exchange collection will be automatically cancelled.
Schedule your exchange collection
After you've selected your preferred payment mode through Cashify:
- Cashify will contact you to schedule a date and time for the collection of your old device. You may be contacted through:
- SMS
- Calls
- Cashify will make three attempts to collect your device within seven days.
Important: Your collection may be cancelled if:
- Cashify is unable to contact you on your mobile number.
- The collection cannot be completed in three attempts within seven days

Receive payment for the exchange
At the appointment, a Cashify agent will arrive to collect your old device.
- Provide a government ID:
- Aadhaar card
- Driving licence
- Passport
- Any other valid government-issued photo ID
- The agent will use Cashify's diagnostic or collection app to securely take pictures or copies of your document directly.
- The Cashify agent will inspect your old device and run diagnostics. During the appointment, your device:
- Must be able to power on.
- Must be able to connect to an operator network.
- Cannot be cloud or account locked (e.g. 'Country locked', 'Network locked', 'Finance locked' or 'iCloud locked'. Learn more at Cashify's Terms and Conditions.
- Based on their inspection, Cashify will offer you a final exchange value. This value includes an exchange bonus.
- Important:
- If the device condition differs from what's provided upon checkout, they can reject or re-quote the exchange.
- If you reject the final exchange value, the exchange will be cancelled, and you will not be able to re-attempt the exchange for the same Google Store order. You also will not be able to return the Google Store order associated with the cancelled exchange.
- Important:
- Cashify will arrange the payment to the account details that you provided earlier through your Cashify account.
- After Cashify successfully collects your exchange device:
- The final exchange value will be credited to your preferred payment method within a few hours.
- The exact processing time may vary depending on factors such as network congestion or your bank's payment gateway processing times.
