Learn about Google Store trade-in process timelines

When you buy a new Pixel device, you can get credit when you trade in your old device through Google Store. Trade-in through Google Store is available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

After you order a new device, you can start the exchange process. Learn how to add an exchange to an order.

  1. You’ll receive your new device.
  2. Cashify will ask you to select the preferred payment mode to receive payment for the exchange.
    • You’ll:
      • Receive an SMS from Cashify asking you to enter your preferred mode of payment.
      • Need a mobile phone number to create an account with Cashify to select the preferred payment mode. The mobile number you use here must be the same one you used to place the Google Store order.
    • After you select the payment mode, Cashify will start the pickup of the exchange device.
  3. Within 7 days after you receive your new device, Cashify schedules your in-person exchange appointment.
    • Cashify will contact you to schedule pick up of the device.
    • Within 7 days, they’ll attempt to pick up your device 3 times.
    • The pick up of the device will be canceled if:
      • They can’t contact you on your mobile phone.
      • The pick up can’t be completed in 3 attempts.
    • Tip: If your device exchange appointment hasn't happened yet, contact Cashify directly to reschedule it for a time that works best for you.
  4. The Cashify agent will inspect your old device and run diagnostics. During the appointment, your device:
    • Must be able to power on.
    • Must be able to connect to a carrier network.
    • Can not be cloud or account locked (e.g. "Country Locked", "Network Locked", "Finance Locked," or "iCloud Locked". Learn more at Cashify’s Terms & Conditions.
  5. Based on their inspection, Cashify will offer you a final exchange value. This value includes exchange bonus. 
    • Important:
      • If the device condition differs from what’s provided upon checkout, they can reject or re-quote the exchange. 
      • If you reject the final exchange value, the exchange will be cancelled, and you will not be able to re-attempt the exchange for the same Google Store order. You also will not be able to return the Google Store order associated with the cancelled exchange.
  6. After the inspection, Cashify arranges payment of the final exchange value to the account details you provided at the appointment.
