Frequency capping limits the number of times your Google Display and Video ads appear to the same user. It doesn't apply to the Search Network.

How to set a frequency cap
- Sign in to your Search Ads 360 experience.
- Navigate to a Google Ads account.
- From the page menu on the left, click Campaigns.
- Click the name of the display campaign that you’d like to add a frequency cap to.
- Select Settings in the page menu.
- Click Additional settings.
- Select Frequency capping.
- Select an option: Let Google Ads optimize how often your ads show, or Set a limit.
- If you set a limit:
- Choose whether to limit impressions for the whole campaign, an ad group, or an ad.
- Enter the number of impressions. The value must be a whole number (such as 100, not 100.5).
- Select a time interval (per day, per week, or per month).
- Click Save.
