As an advertiser, reaching your audience at the right time can significantly increase your campaigns’ efficiency. We’ve launched “scheduled edits” in Search Ads 360 to enable you to schedule your ads at specific time slots and days of the week. Scheduled edits ensure that the ads reach your target audience at the right time. For example, you can automatically pause a promotion after your sale ends. Or, you can launch a promotional sale at midnight.
Scheduled edits consist of automated rules that allow you to schedule your ads to:
- Appear at specific times of the day
- Adjust bids to run during specific sales, product launches, or holidays
- Maximize your budget by running ads when users are most likely to convert
Customize your ads to increase efficiency
The rules in the scheduled edits allow you to:
- Turn on or off several special ads for a promotional event: You can use rules to enable your ads as soon as a promotional event begins and pause the ads at the end of the event. For example, you can use these rules to run your promotional ads during a bank holiday or a seasonal holiday.
- Turn on or off several special ads on a repeating basis: You can create rules to run your ads at regular intervals. Using these rules, you can run your ads every weekend or for a recurring event.
- Turn on or off a special ad campaign for a promotional event: You can define rules to enable and pause your ad campaigns for special events. For example, with these rules, you can schedule your ads during New Year’s Day.
- Enable or pause campaigns at a specific time: You can create a rule to start or pause the campaign at a particular time and date.
After you create the rules, you can monitor their performance and refine them to get the best results.
