The measurement diagnostics page lets you view your measurement setup, validate that your measurement solutions are working, and get detailed alerts when these solutions are not working. This can help ensure you’re accurately measuring campaign performance.
You’ll find a summary view of active measurement products that you’ve turned on and if they have any set up issues.
You’ll also be able to view more information into a specific measurement feature’s diagnostics. Here you can view an overall quality of your setup, specific alerts or improvements to address, historical metrics, and in some cases, impact from adopting the solution. You can also use the historical metrics section to view how the feature improvements you make impact your performance.
Benefits

- Fix issues with your conversion data
How it works
When you go to the measurements diagnostics page, you’ll find an overview of your measurement set up and the status of specific measurement features.
Overview cards
The overview cards show statuses for measurement features you have turned on. You can view whether a feature has been properly set up or if there are actions to take to fix or optimize your setup.
Product overview cards currently available are listed below. More features will be available over the next year.
- Enhanced conversions
- Offline conversions
The overview cards open a diagnostic page with more details for that specific product feature, including information about your features' setup quality, alerts or improvements to address, and historical performance metrics.
Diagnostic page
After you’ve turned on a feature, you’ll be able to view a diagnostics page with status, alerts, and historical metrics to help validate your setup and performance.
Data quality
Data quality summarizes the effectiveness of the measurement feature setup. This effectiveness is measured by how well the feature has been set up to drive performance.
Types of data quality
There are 4 types of data quality for your measurement features:
1. Excellent
Feature is active and fully optimized.
2. Good
Active, but there are further improvements you can make. These are more optional improvements you can make to your setup.
3. Needs attention
Active or inactive, and there are errors that require your attention.
4. Urgent or no recent data
Received data at some point, but are no longer receiving data required for this feature. There may be something wrong with your setup.
Alerts
Alerts help indicate what action a user should take to improve their data quality. All quality levels will have alerts except for “Excellent”. Alerts can come in the form of “Issues” or “Improvements” to your setup.
Performance metrics
This section allows you to validate your setup, and view your performance metrics over time. This will help you identify problems and confirm that they have been resolved after you take action on alerts.
The performance section also helps you identify issues with your setup before you experience a drop in conversions. For example, with Offline conversions, you might observe that the upload volume has decreased compared to previous uploads, and you might also observe a number of issues arising. This will help you identify issues with your setup before it has any major impact on conversion volume and bidding performance.
Impact
In some cases, there’s an impact section that shows more metrics about how the product feature has impacted your campaign’s performance.
