A ratio showing how often people who see your ad end up clicking it. CTR can be used to gauge how well your keywords and ads are performing.
CTR is the number of clicks that your ad receives divided by the number of times your ad is shown (called impressions). For example, if you have five clicks and 1000 impressions, then your CTR is 0.5%. CTR = Clicks on your ads ÷ Impressions (ad views)
You can use this column in a custom column by specifying the CTR
variable.
Add this column to a report
- Navigate to any reporting table, such as a keywords reporting table.
- Select a time range.
- If the column isn't already in the reporting table:
- Click the Columns button above the performance summary graph.
- In the "Modify columns for keywords" box, click the “Search” icon
.
- In the “Search bar,” type the name of the column you want to add or find it in the list below the search bar.
- Click Apply.
