When you label your face group as 'me', you:
- Get more personalised creations. For example, a Highlight video that has photos of you.
- Get personalised search. You can search 'me' to find photos of yourself easily.
- Gain a sense of where you are over time. You can know where you were at different times in your life based on the locations of photos in which your face appears.
Tips:
- This feature isn't available in all geographic regions.
- Face groups aren't perfect. If something is wrong, provide your feedback to help us improve. To provide feedback, select Send feedback

Confirm your face group
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Photos app
.
- At the top, tap your account profile photo or initial.
- Tap Google Photos settings
Privacy.
- If it isn't on already, turn on Face Groups.
- Under 'No face labelled as me', tap Choose.
- Select your face.
- Tap OK.
Change or remove the 'Me' face label
If you select the wrong face, you can change the 'Me' face label to the correct face. You can also remove your face group, but you'll get fewer personalised creations.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Photos app

- At the top, tap your account profile photo or initial.
- Tap Google Photos settings
Privacy.
- Tap Face labelled as 'Me'.
- Select a face to confirm the correct face group or tap Remove
