Photomath Plus overview

What is Photomath Plus?

Photomath Plus is a premium addition to the Photomath experience.

With Photomath Plus, you unlock exclusive features like AI-powered animated tutorials, deeper explanations and contextual hints.

We’re constantly improving the app and developing new features that make math learning and problem-solving both more accessible and easier to understand. Core Photomath features with step-by-step solutions to symbolic math will always remain free of cost, so you can scan equations, expressions, functions etc., or use our calculator to solve as many problems as you need. If you find yourself wanting a little extra help, you can upgrade to Photomath Plus any time for instant access to the tools you need.

Check out our subscription plans by opening the Menu button (top left corner on the home screen) and heading to the Photomath Plus tab.

How is Photomath Plus billed?

Photomath Plus is an in-app purchase subscription and it is billed through payment service providers: Google Play Store and iOS App Store depending on your device's OS. Photomath does not process any payment data or personal information.

Subscriptions are self-managed and set to automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly, 6 months period, or yearly). Plus subscribers are responsible for managing their subscriptions themselves, which includes canceling it on time if they do not wish to continue paying for the service. Cancellation must be made at least a day before the end of the current subscription period.

When you choose a yearly subscription, you are charged upfront for the full year. The full amount, divided over the course of your 12-month subscription, works out to a 50% discount compared to a monthly plan. Similarly, if you pick our 6-month plan, the rate is also discounted, and  you're charged the entire amount upfront. The monthly plan, on the contrary, allows you to pay-as-you-go, but the price is fixed per month and cannot be reduced.

If you have any questions or issues with your existing subscription drop us a line at [email protected], we'd be happy to help.

How to get to Animated Tutorials

Your Photomath Plus subscription includes access to more than 400 AI-powered Animated Tutorials, and we work hard every day to create even more of them. They are an upgraded version of our old animations and simulate how a teacher or a tutor might explain a problem on a whiteboard. That could really enhance your Math learning experience and take understanding of solution steps to the next level! Starting from September 2021 they even have a voice-over, so even if you are not a visual learner, you will love our new Animations.
