How to find the UPI transaction ID- Open Google Pay

- Locate the transaction date of the transaction in question.
- Match the UPI transaction ID found in the Google Pay app to the UPI transaction ID on your bank statement. The UPI transaction ID is the first 9 digits after the slash (/).
- Match the amount in the debit section of your statement to the amount of the transaction in Google Pay.
- Confirm the debit amount is not included in the closing balance on your bank statement.
- Check for a reversal with the same UPI transaction ID and amount in the credit section of your bank statement.

To update your name on your bank account, go to a branch or submit an online request with legal proof of the change. Your bank can have specific requirements, so it's best to contact them directly. Once your name is updated, it'll automatically update in Google Pay.

Fix common issues
- If the amount is still not credited in 3 days:
- Check your bank statement again as sometimes banks don’t send an SMS.
- Do not rely on other sources like transaction history on Google Pay.
- If the amount is debited and the transaction is unsuccessful after 3 days:
- The amount must return to the account, check your bank statement again.
- If the amount is successfully transferred and won’t reflect in your account:
