Manage chat history

Chat with another user

1. To begin a chat in the Google Pay app, tap your friend's chat head.
2. Tap Message.
3. In the text field, type your message.
4. To send the message, tap Send.

Delete chat history

1. Open the Google Pay app .
2. Select the contact whose chat you wish to delete.
3. Tap and hold the message that you want to delete.
4. Select Delete message.

Tip: You can only delete messages that you’ve sent. Your recipient’s messages cannot be deleted.
