Users can receive foreign remittance in Google Pay through the UPI foreign inward remittances feature.
How to activate foreign inward remittances
- Open the Google Pay app

- Tap your Profile picture.
- Under “Payment methods,” tap the Bank account.
- To receive foreign inward remittances, tap the account you want.
- Tap Manage international payments.
- Turn on Receive international payments.
- To provide consent to share masked name and bank account information with international remittance partners, tap Continue.
- Share your UPI ID with the person that you want to receive remittance from.
- You'll receive a notification once you have received money from the sender.
Tip: Check your transaction history for more details about the received remittance.
How to deactivate foreign inward remittances
- Open the Google Pay app

- Tap your Profile picture.
- Under “Payment methods,” tap the Bank account.
- To receive foreign inward remittances, tap the account you want.
- Tap Manage international payments.
- To disable international remittance, turn off Receive international payments.
- To stop receiving international payments, tap Yes.
- You'll receive a confirmation message once international payments have been deactivated.
