This indicates a title that can be pre-ordered and customers will get access to the title as soon as it is available.
- Pre-orders are for movies and EST only.
- Customers do not get charged for placing a pre-order. They’re charged when it’s fulfilled.
- Customers can cancel pre-orders any time, and refund is not necessary as they were not charged.
- Customers will get an email notification when their pre-order is fulfilled.
- Pre-orders start getting fulfilled at EST start time, so they’re generally fulfilled a few hours after the EST start time.
Pre-orders are currently not available to all studios and in all territories.
Contrary to a full title delivery, preorder only requires artwork, metadata (including title and description), rating (when applicable) and allowed languages, to go live. A trailer is not strictly necessary though we recommend it.
