Why doesn't Google respond to the features we want

Google constantly ignores our complaints about turning smart features on or off. Why aren't the developers more responsive? You force us to install third party launchers and other drastic changes just to get small changes made.

I would suggest for you to send feedback to the developers of the application so that hopefully the above issues with Google Messages can be fixed.
 
Please follow the instructions below.
 
Open the messages application then go to the top right hand corner where your profile icon is tap on that then go to Help and feedback then click on send feedback.
