The + Drawer provides various tools for your messages. Some features and shortcuts include:
- Camera: Quickly take and share photos or videos.

- Stickers: Express yourself with a variety of digital stickers.
- Magic Compose: Use AI-powered writing assistance for your messages.
- Files: Attach documents and other files from your device.

- Schedule send: Set a time to send a message later.
- Selfie GIF: Record a 3-second video loop that you can send directly inside your chat.

- Open Google Messages

- At the bottom left, in the text field, tap Drawer

To prioritize the features you use most often, you can arrange the shortcuts in your + Drawer.
Reorder shortcuts- Open Google Messages
- In a conversation, tap Drawer
- Touch and hold, then drag the shortcut you want to move to your desired new position within the drawer.
- You get visual cues and feel a vibration as you move it.
- To place the shortcut in the new position, release your finger.
If you use accessibility services like TalkBack, you can reorder shortcuts with the quick action menu.
- Open Google Messages
- In a conversation, tap Drawer
- Choose the shortcut you want to move.
- To find reordering options, swipe to open the quick action menu.
- To set shortcuts in your preferred order, select Move before, Activate, or Move after.
- Repeat until you’re satisfied with the shortcut position.
