How to increase eligible inventory

Eligible inventory is inventory that’s in stock in your local inventory data and ready to show in local inventory ads and free local listings.

Why this issue is happening

When going through your local inventory data, we've noticed a high percentage of your products are out of stock or do not have inventory data available. These products are not eligible to be shown.

If you have products in your product data that are never available in store, these products should be excluded from local inventory ads and free local listings by using the excluded destination [excluded_destination] attribute.

How to fix your issue

Step 1In the Merchant Center, click Settings Tools and setting menu icon [Gear] in the left navigation menu.

Step 2Click Data sources.

Step 3Click Supplemental sources and click your local inventory data source.

Step 4Click view update history, then select Download data source file.

Step 5Open your local inventory data file and go over the availability provided in the file.

Ensure your products are available to be purchased or on display in store.

Reupload your corrected product data to Merchant Center using your chosen upload method.
