How to fix: Missing return shipping fee

Add the missing shipping fee sub-attribute to your returns attribute

Why this issue is happening

When you submit the shipping fee type [shipping_fee_type] sub-attribute, you must also provide the return shipping cost in the shipping fee [shipping_fee] sub-attribute. The returns shipping fee [returns_shipping_fee] attribute will show an error if this cost is missing.


How to fix your issue

Add the missing shipping fee sub-attribute to your returns shipping fee [returns_shipping_fee] attribute. If you include the shipping fee type [shipping_fee_type] sub-attribute, you must also include the exact return shipping cost within the shipping fee [shipping_fee] sub-attribute.


Fix multiple products at once

  1. Navigate to Products in the Merchant Center, then select the Needs attention tab.
  2. Use the filter icon above the table to find all products affected by your issue.
  3. Select the download icon to download a list (.csv) of all affected products for all issues or this particular issue.
  4. Cross reference the downloaded list with your uploaded product data, and make sure that each affected product has a valid value for returns shipping fee [returns_shipping_fee] attribute by including the shipping fee [shipping_fee].
  5. Reupload your corrected product data to the Merchant Center using your chosen upload method.

Next steps

After making the requested changes, check that you’ve fixed the issue by making sure it’s no longer listed on the “Needs attention” page.
