The Marketing methods focuses on improving the visibility and understanding of the available marketing tools in Merchant Center. Through this overview, merchants are able to discover marketing methods at a glance, and view their implementation status in the account.

- Marketing methods centralized view: A comprehensive overview. You can view whether Shopping ads, Free listings, Local inventory ads, and Free local listings are active, ready for set-up or even disable them.
- Free listings: The dedicated card within the Marketing methods overview page allows its enabling or disabling via the dedicated toggle.
- State indicators: Clearly shows marketing method enablement status in the account (for example, “Set up”, “Ready”, “'Active”).
- Click potential: If applicable, shows potential click volume.
How it works
The Marketing methods page serves as the central panel for managing marketing strategies, and promotional strategies. It's a dedicated interface for the granular activation or deactivation of key marketing formats in Merchant Center.
By accessing the "Marketing methods" page under the “Marketing” tab, one can view and control which of these marketing tools are engaged, optimizing the marketing mix.
Add-ons page and Marketing methods overview page
Marketing methods can also be discovered, activated or deactivated in the add-ons section of Merchant Center. Navigate to Settings > Add-ons to discover available additional marketing methods and features in your Merchant Center account.
