Try on and shop makeup looks on Google

Google's AR beauty try-on experiences let shoppers visualize how products look on them before they buy, allowing shoppers to feel more confident in their decision and increasing the likelihood of a purchase. Now, when searching popular makeup trends, beauty looks for an event or season, or their favorite influential people, shoppers are able to browse and try-on several full makeup looks with the tap of a button, and shop recommended products to get a similar look.

Directly on Google search, users can expand ‘Try on looks inspired by’ to see and virtually try on makeup looks from events and social moments. Today, this is available for beauty looks from 250 celebrities and beauty influencers, with plans to expand to include additional beauty trends and looks. Beneath the try-on experience is a product carousel that features the recommended products to recreate the look.

Beauty Looks Try-On is an organic shopping feature focused on inspiration, and includes recommended products that are similar but not an exact match. In the event you know a celebrity is wearing your brand’s product(s) in one or several of the looks, contact us. As long as you’re able to provide some form of validation and are sharing AR assets with Google, we’ll replace the recommended product with the exact product match. In the event that you believe a product should be associated in reference to a particular celebrity, go to the “Contact us” section below for more information on how to Contact us.
