Benefits
If you use Amazon MCF to provide fast delivery, integrating your MCF-fulfilled products with Google can help you show faster delivery speeds on Google surfaces.
When you update your delivery speed to three working days and your delivery cost is free, shoppers will view a Free three-day delivery badge/annotation on your Google Shopping ads.
This badge/annotation clearly indicates that they can expect their orders to arrive within three working days, making your ads more attractive and encouraging clicks. Learn how to manage your delivery settings
How it works
When you participate in this programme, you'll share with Google product identifiers for all listings in your MCF catalogue and you consent to sharing this information. If you later choose to opt out, you can stop sharing your product identifiers.
Order handling time
This is the time it takes you to process an order and send it to MCF for fulfilment. Shoppers will be able to view MCF speeds of three days on your Google product listings.
Bear in mind
Matching products is based on a number of factors. However, GTIN (Global Trade Item Number) is important for product matching. Without GTIN data, Google will attempt to match a product through other information such as SKU (stock-keeping unit), brand + MPN (Manufacturer Part Number) pairs and ASINs provided in MPN [mpn]
attributes. Still, these identifiers generally don't offer as good a match as GTINs. Without GTINs, Google may not be able to match your products and show fast delivery information on Google. Learn more about unique product identifiers.
Eligibility requirements
- You need to have an active Google MCID (Google Merchant Center ID).
- Eligible products need to be present in your primary feed in Google Merchant Center.
- Only products that share common identifiers are supported for the programme, and make sure that the SKU used for your MCF product listings matches the ID
[id]
used in the product data feed in Google Merchant Center. - Respect the users' three-day delivery time.
Troubleshooting guide
The two main reasons for receiving errors while using this feature are wrong identifiers and missing offers. To avoid these errors in Google Merchant Center:
- Make sure that all your MCF-eligible products are included in your Google product feed in the Google Merchant Center.
- Provide a GTIN for all offers. If a GTIN doesn't exist for your product, you can provide an MPN and brand. Make sure that the product has either an accurate GTIN
[gtin]
attribute or both an MPN[mpn]
and brand[brand]
attribute. Learn more about unique product identifiers. - If a GTIN doesn't exist and you have an ASIN, provide the ASIN in the MPN
[mpn]
attribute.

and incorrect GTIN.
FAQs
- What are Google product listings?
Google product listings allow shoppers to view product results from your site across Google. These include Google Shopping ads, a type of product advertisement that appears on Google's search results page and other Google properties, such as the Shopping tab, image search and YouTube. These ads are visually appealing and include an image of the product, a title, price, retailer name and other relevant information.
- Are there any issues if I use a different fulfilment provider for orders with MCF-tagged SKUs?
If you use a different fulfilment provider with slower delivery speeds, Google's machine learning models may detect anomalies between the displayed delivery speed and actual fulfilment speed, which could result in penalties. To avoid this, we encourage you to use Amazon MCF to fulfil orders for products matched to display MCF three-day delivery speeds. For more information on Google Merchant Center's delivery requirements and policies, visit the Google Merchant Center Help Centre for delivery.
- What do I do to update my delivery costs?
You can update your delivery costs from your Google Merchant Center account.
- Will there be any additional costs for adding delivery speeds to my Google product listings?
There are no additional costs for showing MCF delivery speeds on Google. You'll still pay Google for the cost of your ads.
- How can I measure the performance of my Google ads?
You can view performance reporting related to your Google Shopping ads in the Google Ads console. Learn how to Monitor and optimise your Shopping campaigns.
- What information do I need to provide to get started?
You'll need to provide your website URL and Google Merchant Center ID, and follow the prompts on the intake form with Amazon MCF to get started.
- Will participation impact my products' rankings on Google?
Quoted delivery speed is used in some of Google's ranking models. If you display fast delivery estimates that Google has high confidence in, your products may be shown more prominently than products with slower speeds, with lower priority in Google's ranking model or without a delivery speed.
- What will shoppers view if I update my delivery speed to three days?
What shoppers view varies based on how you've set up your delivery costs and order handling time in Google Merchant Center. If you offer free delivery and the order handling time is zero, Google displays a Free three-day annotation on your product listings. For paid delivery, Google displays Get it by \[date\].
- What handling time should I use?
In general, if you submit orders for fulfilment to MCF on the same day that they are placed, you should specify a zero-day handling time in the intake form. Using a zero-day handling time may mean that you earn the fast and free UX treatment on Google surfaces. You should consider using a longer handling time if you hold orders before submitting them to MCF.
- How can I opt out?
You can opt in or out in Amazon Seller Central.
