Your product landing pages or checkout flow doesn't provide an option to place an order to pick up today. Add a pick up today option to your product landing pages or in your checkout flow so that customers can buy or reserve online and collect the product in store the same or next day.

Your product landing page and checkout flow don't provide click and collect availability

Your product landing pages and checkout flow don't provide click and collect availability. Add a shop selector with the ability to show click and collect availability:

  • Pick up today availability can be displayed after clicking on a link, for example, 'check local availability', or after submitting a postcode or address.
  • Shop selection for collection can occur in your checkout flow after a user has added an item to their basket.
  • After a user clicks or inputs the required information, your site must display an item's required collection SLA ('same day' or 'next day collection') as well as the optional available collection methods ('reserve online' or 'buy online') as needed. The SLA refers to the expected timeframe within which an order placed online for 'pick up later' at a shop should be ready for the customer to collect. You must also display the location of the local shop.

Your sample product page doesn't provide users the option to check a product's collection availability at different shop locations

Your product landing pages don't provide customers the option to check a product's collection availability at various shop locations. Add a shop selector to your product landing pages or checkout flow so that customers can view where they can collect the product.

You haven't submitted the required attributes in your primary data source or local product inventory data source

Your primary and product inventory data sources don't contain the required attributes for the pick up today feature. Review the required attributes for pick up today and add these values to your data source. Values for collection SLA [pickup_SLA] must be submitted, as well as values for collection method [pickup_method] as needed, in either your primary data source or product inventory data. Step 1In your Merchant Center account, click Settings Tools and settings menu icon [Gear] in the left navigation menu.

Step 2Select Add-ons and go to the Your add-ons tab. 

Step 3In the 'Local inventory ads' card, click Go to local inventory ads.

Step 4Click Review setup status next to the country for which you want to set it up.

Step 5Select 'Your collection experience (optional)'.

Select Customers can collect them the same or the next day.

Add a URL that shows product page collection information.

Click Request review.


Pick up later rejection reasons

Your website shows no option to place an order for collection

Your product landing page or checkout flow doesn't provide an option to place an order to collect later. Add a collection option to your product landing pages or in your checkout flow.

Your website is missing a click and collect SLA

After a user clicks or inputs the required information, your site must display an item's collection SLA. The SLA refers to the expected timeframe within which an order placed online for 'pick up later' at a shop should be ready for the customer to collect.
