The eligible channel for promotion [redemption_channel] attribute indicates whether the offer is valid online or in-store.
When to use
Required for all promotions.
The following values are supported for this attribute:
- Online
[online]: Allow your promotion to apply to products online. - In store
[in_store]: Allow your promotion to apply to products in-store. - Online and in store
[in_store, online]: Allows your promotion to apply to products in both online or in-store.
Important: If the eligible channel for promotion value is left empty, your promotion will default to “online”. Online promotions will not be restricted to the region store radius, and will appear on your online Shopping ads.

- If you have an omnichannel promotion, which is a promotion that is available both in-store and online, submit the value as “
in_store, online”. - In store value is only applicable for those participating in the local promotions open beta.
