About the Top Quality Store programme

This article is intended for users of the Google & YouTube app on Shopify.

The Top Quality Store programme rewards businesses that provide excellent customer experiences.

The programme monitors the experience that you provide to customers in several areas including delivery speed, delivery cost, return cost and return window. You are given a rating of excellent, comparable or opportunity for each metric.

By meeting certain customer experience criteria, you may receive:

  • The 'Top Quality Store' badge that displays on your listings and can improve user confidence in buying from you
  • Prominence in placements on the Shopping tab

 

This programme is available in several countries with varying features. As more countries/features become available, this table will be updated.

View your performance

You can view your performance in Merchant Center by navigating to the 'Shop Quality' tab in the left navigation menu. You can also opt in to receive regular performance reports via email.

Opt in to receive performance reports via email

  1. In your Merchant Center account, click Settings Tools and settings menu icon [Gear] in the left navigation menu.
  2. Select General.
  3. Go to Personal preferences tab.
  4. In the 'Email preferences' section, make sure that New and tips and performance are ticked.
  5. Click Save.
Any other changes to settings or product data made in your Merchant Center account may be overridden by changes made in your Shopify account. All other settings should be edited and maintained directly in your Shopify account.
