How to fix: Regional availability values are inconsistent

Update the regional availability value for the affected products and regions to match the value on your landing page

Why this issue is happening

Your product's availability in the region is set to out of stock [out_of_stock] but it’s available on your landing page.

How to fix your issue

  • Update the regional availability value in your product data to match the availability on your landing page.
  • Schedule an upload or use the Content API to immediately update your product data. This scheduling helps make sure Google has the same data as is on your landing page.
  • To exclude products from showing, ensure that you only use the excluded destination [excluded_destination] attribute
  • If the availability is set to preorder or backorder, provide the availability date [availability_date] attribute (with a value up to 1 year in the future)

Note: Regional availability mismatches can lead to a warning.

Fix products one by one directly in Merchant Center

Step 1 Navigate to Products in the Merchant Center, then select the Needs attention tab.

Step 2 Use the filter icon  above the table to find all products affected by your issue.

Step 3 Click on the title of the product you want to fix, then click Edit product.

Step 4 Make the required change.

Step 5 Select Save.

Fix multiple products at once

Step 1 Navigate to Products in the Merchant Center, then select the Needs attention tab.

Step 2 Use the filter icon  above the table to find all products affected by your issue.

Step 3 Select the download icon to download a list (.csv) of all affected products for all issues or this particular issue.

Step 4 Cross reference the downloaded list with your uploaded product data, and update the regional availability [availability] value in your product data to match the value on your landing page.

Step 5 Reupload your corrected product data to the Merchant Center using your chosen upload method.


Next steps

After making the requested changes, check that you’ve fixed the issue by making sure it’s no longer listed on the “Needs attention” page.

Keep in mind: It may take some time for your change to be reflected on the “Needs attention” page.
