How to fix: Delivery cost value too high

Check the delivery cost limit before adding your delivery rates

Why this issue is happening

This issue occurs when the value submitted for the price [price] sub-attribute of the shipping [shipping] attribute is too high.  

The price sub-attribute is required to provide delivery speed overrides, which are otherwise optional. The price sub-attribute is also required for your handling time and transit time sub-attributes to be considered valid.

How to fix your issue

To resolve this issue, review the delivery cost limit before adding your delivery rates. Learn more about shipping attributes and accepted values

Fix your products

Step 1 Navigate to Products in Merchant Center, then select the Needs attention tab.

Step 2 Use the filter icon  above the table to find all products affected by your issue.

Step 3 Select the download icon  to download a list (.csv) of all affected products for all issues or this particular issue.

Step 4 Cross-reference the downloaded list with your uploaded product data, and review the delivery cost limits for the price [price] sub-attribute of the shipping [shipping] attribute. Ensure that the delivery cost limit is compatible with the delivery rates.

Step 5 Re-upload your corrected product data to Merchant Center using your chosen upload method.

After making the requested changes, check that you've fixed the issue by making sure that it's no longer listed on the 'Needs attention' page. Bear in mind that the changes may take between 24–72 hours to take effect.
